Twenty-six green logistics cases from China have been incorporated into international standards.

　　People's Daily Online, Beijing, March 16 (Reporter Hao Shuai) According to the website of the State Administration for Market Regulation, the international standard "Application Cases of Green Logistics Activities" (ISO TR 25326:2026), led by China, was officially released recently. This standard focuses on logistics scenarios such as transportation, storage, loading and unloading, handling, packaging, circulation processing, distribution, and information processing. It provides 83 cases from 15 countries and 28 enterprises, covering aspects such as resource-intensive utilization, low-carbon emissions, resource recycling, environmental protection, and occupational health, of which 26 cases are from China.

　　The standard analyzes the green goals achieved by each case, the sustainable factors involved, key technologies and management points, and proposes standardization recommendations, providing practical references for various organizations to understand, implement, and promote green logistics activities. China's 26 cases cover five aspects of green logistics. For example, in terms of resource-intensive utilization, China has promoted the application of rack-mounted container transportation technology for rolled steel goods in enterprises such as railways, ports, steel, and paper manufacturing, reducing logistics costs by over 83 million yuan per million tons of transportation volume. In terms of low-carbon emissions, China has utilized warehouse rooftops to promote distributed photovoltaic power generation, with photovoltaics covering more than 60% of the annual electricity consumption of warehouse areas. In terms of occupational health, China has promoted the installation of tailboards on trucks, achieving automatic lifting through hydraulic system control, improving loading and unloading efficiency by over 60%, and significantly reducing the risk of accidental injuries caused by improper handling.
