On August 5th, a delegation led by Hong Kong's Transport and Logistics Bureau visited China's International Sustainable Transport Innovation and Knowledge Center for discussions on green marine fuel collaboration. A cooperative seminar on green marine fuel was held, with broad participation from companies and universities in Hong Kong and mainland China. The discussions covered topics such as establishing a green energy transport corridor and the international standardization of fuel development. A consensus was reached to strengthen cooperation and advance the green transformation of shipping economies. Furthermore, a memorandum of cooperation was signed to promote international standards, production, and application of green marine fuel technologies.
