As of now, the mainstream price of light soda ash in the northwest region is 1050-1150 yuan/ton, and the price of heavy soda ash is 1050-1150 yuan/ton; the price of light soda ash in the northeast region is 1600-1700 yuan/ton, and the price of heavy soda ash is 1600-1700 yuan/ton. The soda ash unit is undergoing maintenance and production reduction, and the load-raising operation coexists, and the supply side has increased slightly; winter storage purchases have gradually started, but the downstream is still mainly based on low-price rigid demand purchases; driven by pre-holiday replenishment, the market transaction atmosphere is still good, and the overall operation remains weak and stable.

According to Boduoduo data: On December 30, the opening price of the main soda ash contract SA2505 was 1450 yuan/ton, and it finally closed at 1443 yuan/ton, with a daily increase of -1.10%. The intraday high was 1455 yuan/ton, the low was 1436 yuan/ton, and the total position was 1031634 lots, up 59609 lots month-on-month.

Today, the price of soda ash futures fluctuated downward in a narrow range. The current soda ash market is still facing the problem of suppression of a large amount of midstream inventory. Although the liquidity of low-priced sources has tightened, under the premise of limited actual demand, it has not formed a short-term mismatch market. As the downstream pre-holiday stocking demand will gradually weaken, the price operation will be under pressure again. In the short term, there is no new positive news to drive it, and the price of soda ash may maintain a weak trend.
