Glass import-export analysis: In June 2026, glass imports reached 17,400 tons, representing a year-on-year increase of 23% and a month-on-month rise of 16%. From January to June 2026, cumulative imports totaled 87,600 tons, down 23,900 tons year-on-year (a decrease of 21.41%).

By country, the top three glass import sources in June were Thailand (0.54 million tons), Indonesia (0.33 million tons), and Taiwan, China (0.26 million tons), accounting for 36%,22%, and 17% respectively.

According to customs data, glass exports in June 2026 reached 77,000 tons, representing a year-on-year increase of 10% but a month-on-month decrease of 30%. From January to June 2026, cumulative exports totaled 569,400 tons, up by 120,000 tons year-on-year (a growth rate of 26.69%).

By country, the top three glass exporters in June were Vietnam (0.54 million tons), the Philippines (0.50 million tons), and Poland (0.46 million tons), accounting for 22%,20%, and 18% of total exports respectively.
