As of now, the mainstream price for light soda ash in North China remains at 1,170–1,260 yuan/ton, while that for heavy soda ash ranges from 1,250 to 1,320 yuan/ton; in East China, the price for light soda ash is 1,110–1,570 yuan/ton, and the mainstream price for heavy soda ash stands at 1,220–1,320 yuan/ton. On the supply side, soda ash plants in Qinghai Salt Lake are operating normally, with no significant changes observed at other facilities; on the demand side, demand continues to be weak, downstream purchasing interest is low, new orders are scarce, and market transaction activity has slightly declined. Currently, a strong wait-and-see attitude prevails, trading activity remains sluggish, and spot prices face downward pressure.
