On July 8, a Francophone African seminar on China’s reform and opening-up experience visited IBI’s Digital Economy Headquarters. Delegates from eight countries—including Burundi, DRC, Gabon, and Morocco—engaged in in-depth discussions with IBI leadership on digital port operations, overseas warehouses, cross-border supply chain optimization, mineral resource trade, and agricultural cooperation. IBI emphasized Africa’s strategic importance, highlighting synergies between China’s digital industrial capabilities and Africa’s growth momentum and resource advantages. Participants explored concrete collaboration opportunities—from warehouse digitization and mineral value-chain upgrading to coffee/cocoa export enhancement and deep-water port development. IBI pledged to leverage its cross-border e-commerce platforms and industrial internet expertise to advance China-Africa industrial chain innovation and high-quality economic cooperation.
